Equipment Makers Step Up to Help the Cannabis Industry

This episode of Particulate Matters explores how three equipment firms are teaming up to help cannabis processing operations.

From non-psychoactive CBD to THC, the global cannabis market is projected to grow to a value of $85 billion by 2028 as more areas of the world begin to legalize cannabis for medical or recreational uses. As companies enter this growing industry, many cannabis processing operations are encountering a shortage of material-specific technical knowledge and few industry-specific equipment solutions. While the cannabis industry is in a state of professionalization and working to develop best practices, makers of equipment for dry particulate and bulk solid materials are now stepping in to offer their expertise and develop new technologies tailored for cannabis manufacturing that increase the efficiency of operations and quality of end products.

Powder & Bulk Solids managing editor John S. Forrester recently spoke to representitives from ABM Equipment, Marion Process Solutions, and Kason Corp. to hear how they formed an exclusive cannabis systems engineering and integration partnership leverage their resources in support of the cannabis industry and help each other gain a further ground in the emerging market.

Join us for this episode our podcast series Particulate Matters to learn how equipment companies are playing a role in advancing the cannabis industry:
